Designed To Trust Him

You are designed to trust God. You will function better when you trust God. You will produce better results when you trust God. You will be more peaceful and content when you trust God. You will have more joy when you trust God. When you trust God you will accomplish His will. When you trust God He will accomplish His will. When we do not trust God we are dysfunctional. If you have trusted Christ you are already aware of the immeasurable improvements He has made in you and your life.

Hebrews 11:6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Pleasing God is what we are created for. Trusting Him is the first thing that will please Him. We will be able to please Him in countless ways after we have trusted Him. There will always be an emptiness and a dissatisfaction within us until we fulfill that purpose.

Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

There wasn*t much that impressed Jesus about the people that he encountered while here on earth. One thing that He praised was their faith and something He marveled at was their unbelief. We should learn from those whose faith Christ praised.

Luke 7:9: When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Mark 6:6: And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
